The big challenge now, after the first major wave of help, is to continue approaching one another and actively building bridges between the population and the people of foreign origins, in order to build constructive co-existence in the municipalities and towns. No room should be given to initial attempts at exclusion or the creation of parallel societies.
The measures will be coordinated by the association Impulse Krems and agreed with relevant institutions. The project comprises measures for dealing with language barriers, should help to impart cultural and social values, but also offer people space to continue fostering their native culture. Voluntary activities should be accelerated and supported, and appropriate projects built up. School projects are also planned.
Particular attention will be placed here on the use of available resources and existing offers.
